Who is JKT48? Jakarta's miracle.

Born December 2011 as the first AKB48 sister group outside Japan, JKT48 turned Jakarta into an idol capital. Dozens of teenage girls selected from thousands perform almost daily in their own exclusive theater on the 4th floor of fX Sudirman Mall.

The concept is “idols you can meet”: handshake events, 2-shot photos, theater meet & greet, voting for senbatsu, and fan-driven popularity. From “Heavy Rotation” and “Koisuru Fortune Cookie” to original anthems like “Rapsodi” and “Flying High”, JKT48 blends J-pop energy with Indonesian heart.
